Creation of the line-up
From sketch to production.
The process of creating the LS collections signature goggles started with pen and paper. We sketched out several goggles that were then prototyped in our own lab using a Form 2 3D printer. From here we started adjusting the size and curvature etc. to make sure we had the base of a well-fitting goggle. From here we sent files to the Italian manufacturer who helped finalize the technical aspects of the goggle and make a mould for its production. After this we proceeded with the actual design and colors of the goggles and worked with Keyshot to create our final selection for the Winter 2021-2022 collection.
The LS range
A goggle for everyone.
The aim of the LS collection was to create a coherent lineup with options in size, lens and frame shape and colour. The result was the LS2, LS3, LS4, LS5 and LS7. The naming system makes the goggles easily identifiable and creates a structure for the range that facilitates both for consumers and retailers.

Photoshoots
We shot the first photos using samples from the LS collection in Tignes in the spring. This also served as our first proper test of the goggles on snow, allowing for final refinements in terms of lenses, and other technical features of the straps and frames.
Packaging
New boxes and sleeves
We created a concept for the new packaging based on a cardboard box with integrated hangtag and an individual product sleeve to replace the current plastic box and individual stickers. The packaging without any plastic window still gives a clear visual of the product and eliminates issues around the look of the product if it hasn’t been put back properly. The result is a more qualitative finish of the packaging, as well as being fully recyclable.
Website
Selling the goggles.
Loubsol previously did not have their own web shop so this was a part of our mission for the brand and we already had the base as the site was launched in conjunction with the summer 21 sunglasses collection.
The goggle collection was put up on the website in the fall for a sneak preview during the High Five Festival in Annecy and then launched to the wider public end of October.
