Standing out from the crowd.
Most local electricians in Tignes and the surrounding area use their own or the region’s name, followed by electricity. The idea behind Platypus was to create something that stands out, is eye catching and a talking point to generate interest. The identity was therefore created based on a more abstract concept and the use of strong visual colours to enforce this idea.
Platypus – Ornithorhynchus anatinus
A unique feature of the Platypus is its electroreception ability. Electroreception is used in electrolocation (detecting objects) and for electrocommuncation.
